Hi, I’m Eight.
I focus on providing compassionate and holistic care to adults and couples that supports personal growth, authenticity, and emotional well-being. My approach integrates mindfulness and mind-body-spirit connection to nurture the nervous system and shift old patterns, including those related to anxiety and relational stress.
I work with a range of individuals, including those who are navigating anxiety, OCD, and life transitions.
As a queer, Latine individual, I am dedicated to providing a safe, gender-affirming, inclusive environment for LGBTQIA2S+ clients, immigrants or PGM.
Eight is a Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Justin Little, LMFT and Katie Keck, LMFT.
Eight currently sees clients online throughout Oregon.

Approach:
Individual + Couples Therapy
Individual Therapy is when a therapist helps one singular person through different areas of concern. Typically to address personal, professional, emotional, and psychological concerns
Couples Therapy is when all partners in a committed relationship are treated at the same time by the same therapist. Typically to improve communication and build a stronger bond.
Areas of Specialty:
Anxiety, LGBTQIA2S+, and Psychedelic Integration
Anxiety is the mind and body's threat-response system misfiring in the absence of actual danger — producing fear, worry, and physical symptoms that are meant to protect us but instead interfere with daily functioning.
LGBTQIA2S+ affirming care that addresses the unique challenges of minority stress, identity exploration, family rejection, and internalized shame this community often carries.
Psychedelic integration therapy helps people process and meaningfully incorporate the insights, emotions, and experiences that arise from psychedelic experiences — translating them into lasting psychological growth rather than leaving them unprocessed.
Certifications:
A Level I certified RT therapist has been trained in Restoration Therapy — Terry Hargrave's research-based model combining Attachment Theory, mindfulness, and emotional regulation to help clients identify painful relational patterns and move toward genuine, lasting restoration.
Restoration Therapy Level I
Psychedelic Integration certification trains therapists in the neuroscience, ethics, harm reduction, and therapeutic frameworks needed to competently support clients in processing and integrating psychedelic experiences.
Psychedelic Integration
Eight completion of introductory IFS training — enough to incorporate IFS concepts and language into clinical work — distinct from the full Level 1, 2, and 3 certification track that leads to becoming a Certified IFS Therapist.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting certification is earned through Phase 1 and Phase 2 intensive trainings where clinicians learn the core techniques and clinical application, with advanced specialized trainings available beyond the foundational levels.
Gottman Method
The Gottman Method is a research-based couples therapy approach that identifies the patterns that destroy relationships — like contempt and stonewalling — and replaces them with skills for building friendship, managing conflict, and creating shared meaning.
