Hi, I’m Kathryn.
“When anxiety starts to take over your thoughts, relationships, or sense of self, I offer therapy to restore a sense of calm- a steady place to breathe again. My sessions are designed to be a soft place to land — especially for people who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or unsure where to begin.
Together, we look at where your survival patterns began and how they’re showing up now. From there, we work on creating new and sustainable ways of thinking, feeling, and responding. My approach is intentionally gentle and practical, focused on helping you build confidence in tools that ease anxiety and support emotional regulation in your daily life.
I often work with clients experiencing anxiety, grief, trauma, spiritual deconstruction or religious trauma, major life transitions, identity exploration, and people who are seeking therapy for the first time. I also provide affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals and those navigating complex relational or internal experiences.
I am trained in Restoration Therapy, a model that helps you understand the patterns of pain and peace that shape your reactions, so you can move toward healthier, more grounded ways of relating. My style is warm, steady, and empowering. I meet you exactly where you are, help make sense of the patterns that keep you stuck, and support you in creating a life that feels calmer, clearer, and more your own.”
Kathryn is a current masters-level student intern under the supervision of Justin Little, LMFT.
Kathryn currently sees clients online throughout Oregon and in person in Sisters, OR.

Approach:
Teens, and Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy is when a therapist helps one singular person through different areas of concern. Typically to address personal, professional, emotional, and psychological concerns.
Areas of Specialty:
Anxiety, LGBTQIA+, Religious Harm Recovery
Anxiety is the mind and body's threat-response system misfiring in the absence of actual danger — producing fear, worry, and physical symptoms that are meant to protect us but instead interfere with daily functioning.
LGBTQIA+ affirming care recognizes and actively addresses the unique mental health challenges faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual individuals — including minority stress, internalized shame, family rejection, identity exploration, and the cumulative psychological toll of living in a world that frequently marginalizes or erases their experience.
Religious harm recovery helps clients process the psychological damage of toxic religious experiences — deconstructing internalized shame and control, grieving lost community and identity, and rebuilding a sense of self and meaning on their own terms.
Certifications:
A Level I certified RT therapist has been trained in Restoration Therapy — Terry Hargrave's research-based model combining Attachment Theory, mindfulness, and emotional regulation to help clients identify painful relational patterns and move toward genuine, lasting restoration.
