Hi, I’m Maddie.

I hope to walk with you as we explore how to live with more alignment, authenticity, and depth, whatever that may mean or look like for you.

I am currently working with individuals and couples through grief, life transition, identity development, and women’s issues. I act as a guide and support in this work of returning to the spirit of self.

Maddie is a current Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Justin Little, LMFT and Katie Keck, LMFT.

Maddie currently sees clients online throughout Oregon and in person in Bend, OR.

Approach:

Individual + Couples Therapy

Individual Therapy is when a therapist helps one singular person through different areas of concern. Typically to address personal, professional, emotional, and psychological concerns.

Couples Therapy is when all partners in a committed relationship are treated at the same time by the same therapist. Typically to improve communication and build a stronger bond.

Areas of Specialty:

Anxiety, Adult Attachment, Grief and Loss

Anxiety is the mind and body's threat-response system misfiring in the absence of actual danger — producing fear, worry, and physical symptoms that are meant to protect us but instead interfere with daily functioning.

Adult attachment refers to the unconscious patterns of relating in close relationships — secure, anxious, avoidant, or disorganized — that are shaped by early experiences with caregivers and continue to drive how a person responds to intimacy, conflict, and vulnerability throughout their adult life.

Grief and loss is the natural but often complex response to losing someone or something significant — and in therapy, the goal isn't to "get over it" but to help a person process the full range of emotions and integrate the loss into a continuing life.

Certifications:

A Level I certified RT therapist has been trained in Restoration Therapy — Terry Hargrave's research-based model combining Attachment Theory, mindfulness, and emotional regulation to help clients identify painful relational patterns and move toward genuine, lasting restoration.

Somatic ACT

Somatic ACT combines the psychological flexibility skills of ACT with body-based awareness, helping clients notice how emotions and avoidance live in the body — not just the mind — as part of the healing process.

Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga

Trauma-Informed Yoga certification trains practitioners to offer yoga in a way that prioritizes safety, choice, and nervous system awareness — adapting traditional yoga to avoid triggering trauma responses in survivors.
