Hi, I’m Rachael.
Hello, I’m Rachael Allen, (she/her) and I am glad that you are here. I believe healing begins when we feel deeply seen and supported, and my work is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect for your unique story.
I identify as a queer, cisgender woman and hold diversity, equity, and inclusion as paramount in both my work and life. I am dedicated to creating an affirming space for people of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences.
My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, identity exploration, grief, and the impacts of stress and self-criticism. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can build healthier coping strategies, challenge negative self-talk, and rediscover balance and joy.
If you’re looking for a counselor who values authenticity, creativity, and collaboration, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Rachael is a Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Justin Little, LMFT and Katie Keck, LMFT.
Rachael currently sees clients online throughout Oregon and in person in Portland, OR.

Approach:
Individual Therapy is when a therapist helps one singular person through different areas of concern. Typically to address personal, professional, emotional, and psychological concerns.

Areas of Specialty:
PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) is a trauma response where the nervous system gets stuck in survival mode — producing intrusive memories, hypervigilance, avoidance, and emotional dysregulation long after the original threat has passed.
Relationship concerns are addressed by identifying the underlying patterns and attachment wounds driving relational difficulties, and building the self-awareness and skills needed for healthier connection.
identity concerns often show up as a felt sense of not knowing who you are, what you value, or where you belong — sometimes emerging after a major life change, loss, or the slow realization that the version of yourself you've been presenting to the world doesn't feel authentic or your own.
